It is useful for the make payment of vendors. When invoices are generated that time If we want to make payment to that vendor then we can pay by this voucher.
(for creating payment voucher 1stly create ledger group & ledger name )
Step 1: Click on Account (at left side of dashboard) .
Step 2: Click on Payment Voucher (this is in account list).
Step 3: Click on Payment Voucher Button.
Step 4: Select voucher generation date.
Step 5: in 3rd box type Bill No.
Step 6: Select Bank Account.
Step 7: Select Payment Mode.
Step 8: Select Ledger group.
Step 9: Select Ledger.
Step 10: Type Amount.
Step 11:Type Reference-No(i.e. chaque no.).
Step12: Add Remark if you want.
Step 13: Save .
Account=>click on Master=>click on account=>check bank account detail=>you can check opening balance of bank also bank related details like opening date,branch name, account name,account number, account type,IFSC code etc.
Contra Voucher is generally useful for the transfer of amount from one Account to other account. For Example : If we want to transfer amount 200 Rs from BOI(Bank Of India) to PNB(Punjab National Bank). Opening Balance of BOI is 500 Rs (( 1 st APR 17 Financial year)). Opening Balance of PNB is 700 Rs (( 1 st APR 17 Financial year)). Account=>Contra Voucher=>Select date=>select credit account ( BOI)=>select debit account (PNB) =>enter reference number=>enter remarks=>enter amount (200)=>save Now, amount transferred successfully from One account to another account. You can check bank report in details as per below mentioned few steps. Report=>MIS Report=>Bank Report=>select bank=>click on view.
It is generally used for the add provision against salary, electricity bill, rent etc. We have to add provision (some amount which has to pay )
